Children and Young People's Partnership

Children and Young People's Partnership

Ceredigion's Children and Young People's Partnership was established as a  partnership, at the end of 2006, in response to the legal requirements contained in the Children Act 2004 coming into force. It is made up of all the key agencies that are responsible for delivering services to children and young people in Ceredigion. Its core responsibility is to improve the outcomes for children and young people (aged 0–25) across Ceredigion and to produce and deliver a Children and Young People's Plan every three years.

The Partnership is also responsible for producing and delivering a Child Poverty Stratgegy. This is included in our Children and Young People's Plan 2011 - 14.

We have included minutes of the Children and Young People's Partnership on this website, our most recent Plan and the Operating Agreement and Terms of Reference. This latter document fully explains the purpose of the Partnership.

The final meeting of the Children and Young People's Partnership took place on October 19th, 2012. The Partnership has been replaced by the Ceredigion Local Service Board Executive Group for Children and Young People - please see the link on the left.
