Ceredigion Local Service Board
The Local Service Boards is not a new organisation but is the local leadership team. This team will pull together all the partners to agree joint action to achieve better outcomes for citizens where this requires working across organisational boundaries.
| The Local Service Board will develop from the Ceredigion 2020 Partnership Board, but with a much stronger remit to agree and deliver joint action, moving from citizen-focused analysis to service change. The aim is to improve local services for citizens by pooling resources and removing bureaucracy or other obstacles. A senior official from the Welsh Assembly Government will work with each local leadership team to help achieve this. The Boards will agree, and ensure delivery of, a set of priority joint actions to achieve this. These actions will be expressed as Local Delivery Agreements. In addition, the Local Service Board will also be responsible for the Community Strategy and the work of its Thematic Groups. The Board The LSB for Ceredigion is in essence the former Ceredigion 2020 Partnership Board, although the membership has changed slightly. The Board continues to bring together the key decision-makers from the major organisations in the County.
Members consist mainly of senior representatives of those organisations responsible for the strategies in the strategic area.
